How We Help

Great Falls Rescue Mission meets the basic needs of hurting and homeless men, women, and children with food and a clean, safe place to sleep.

In 2023, we provided 65,023 nights of shelter for men, women, and children. We offer cold weather services during the winter months when the elements are life threatening and the temperature is 32 degrees or below.  Individuals can stay in our shelters overnight, regardless of their circumstances. Cold Weather Services for Great Falls Rescue Mission Men’s & Women’s Shelters are in effect when the weather feels like 32 degrees or below from 10:00pm to 7:00am.

During the day, if the weather is extremely cold and it feels like the temperature drops below 15 degrees, individuals may remain inside the building as long as they maintain a respectful attitude, follow the rules and check in any bags with the front desk. If individuals choose to leave the building after breakfast then they cannot come back until 10:00pm. All for the safety of the hundreds of people that we are serving on a daily basis.
